This flint & steel technique could come in handy if you injure 1 of your upper limbs! I know it really helped me out after learning it! It also forces you to strike the flint correctly.

*MAKING CHAR CLOTH & DAKOTA FIRE PIT 2
This is to show how the Dakota Fire Hole is used & how effecient it is for cooking &other tasks! I used the opportunity to show how to make char cloth. i used my tin for dry tinder to make it & used the contents of the tin before hand to build the fire.
